Snap AR

My team and I played a pivotal role in scaling Snapchat's augmented reality products and goals as it worked towards establishing it’s comprehensive AR ecosystem. A cross-functional role which interacted with sales, strategy, product, engineering, marketing and more, we contributed to the design, strategic and creative evolution of the AR brand, it's partnerships and AR content in market, covering EMEA, APAC, and US markets.

Our collaborative efforts spanned key business initiatives, including new AR product launches, go-to-market (GTM) strategies, product education workshops, product testing sessions, UX research, insights, and brand activations. I personally spearheaded design strategy across creative initiatives and integrations geared towards achieving Snap AR's brand partnerships and product goals, expanding our network of AR partners and creators, and elevating the overall Snap AR offering.

As a Design Lead for Arcadia, I helped to launch the Arcadia Creative studio brand in market, and led design functions across AR innovation projects with key brand partners.

I contributed to the creative development and design of content for our Lens Fest AR program, helping to showcase the power of our AR products and community.

We developed design and creative content for Snapchat panels at industry events such as Newfronts. Our challenge was to present our brand and product narratives in engaging formats that captured our core brand tenets, whilst expanding upon them in in ways that best served the context and setting in which they were being presented. This often required an abstraction of brand elements such as colours, icons and UI components that could inform a bespoke visual expression.

Finally, my team and I led design and creative output on a number of AR activations for Snapchat and key partners across brand, PR, Comms initiatives that contributed to our efforts to showcase the utility and creative opportunities of Snapchats AR and content products.
